ePASS

ePASS is a quick and easy way for individuals and families to learn about and apply for available benefits and services.

By visiting ePASS.NC.gov you can do the following:

  1. Submit an electronic application for Food and Nutrition Services (formerly Food Stamps), Medical Assistance (Medicaid and NC Health Choice or CHIP), Crisis Intervention Programs (CIP), and Low Income Energy Assistance Program (LIEAP).
  2. View or complete and print a PDF version of the North Carolina Medical and/or Food and Nutrition Services Application and fax/mail to:

  3. You can learn if you are potentially eligible for Medical Assistance by completing an electronic pre-assessment screening.
