Library Services for Teens

Get involved in reading, creating, and community service!

Buncombe County libraries are a great place for teens to get involved in reading, creating, and community service. Whether it's volunteering to help with special programs, getting together with friends to make a book trailer video, or submitting a book review to Rant & Rave, Buncombe County Public Libraries always have something fun for teens to do!

Book Reviews for Teens by Teens

Do you always walk around with a book in your bag? Stay up all night reading under the covers? Love to tell your friends what to read next? Wish someone had told you to skip a book you hated? We want to hear about it!

Four times a year, Buncombe County Public Libraries publish RANT & RAVE, a newsletter of book rants and recommendations for teens, by teens. Do you always walk around with a book in your bag? Stay up all night reading under the covers? Love to tell your friends what to read next? Wish someone had told you to skip a book you hated? This is the place to make your voice heard!

Anyone ages 11 to 18 can submit a book review to RANT & RAVE. Look for a submission form at your local Buncombe County Public Library. You can download the form below. Turn your review in to any library, or email it to library@buncombecounty.org and look for yourself in the next issue of RANT & RAVE!
