Visit Chimney Rock State Park with a ZOOM Pass From the Library

Located in Rutherford County just 25 miles southeast of Asheville, Chimney Rock State Park offers some of North Carolina's most dramatic mountain scenery overlooking Hickory Nut Gorge and Lake Lure. You can hike to Hickory Nut Falls and take an elevator (or climb) to the top of the park's namesake, a 315-foot freestanding rock spire. Chimney Rock State Park also has riverside hikes, picnic areas, interpretive exhibits and a gift shop.  Your ZOOM pass will give you free admission to the park for two adults and three children age five and up, children under age five are always admitted at no charge.

To get a ZOOM pass, use our online reservation system at the library website and reserve a pass for the location of your choice. You can pick up your pass at any library up to one week before your reservation. All you need is a library card! If you have any questions, or need a card, ask at your friendly, neighborhood library.
