From Buncombe County Libraries:
Join us at Pack Memorial Library in Asheville for a presentation by Georgia Coleman on creating a culture of innovation in your library. This free program will be Monday, Sept. 30, at 7 p.m. and everyone is invited.
Georgia will outline her experience in using human-centered design techniques to create small changes that have a big impact on library customer experience. With a culture of innovation, you can build the capacity of staff at all levels to use these tools for problem solving. Learn about “seeding” design thinking and how this sometimes messy process can make library services more convenient, effective and enjoyable.
A leader in the use of human-centered design in public libraries, Georgia Coleman is a champion for library services that enhance community connectedness and quality of life. She currently serves as Chief Customer Officer at the award-winning Richland Library in Columbia, SC, where she is responsible for public services and customer experience throughout the library system.
This program is brought to you by the Library Board of the Buncombe County Public Library. For more information, contact Pack Library at 828-250-4700 or buncombecounty.org/library.
