Hi, I'm Bud. I'm a three-year-old beagle. I'm timid because in my old home I was tied to a tree and the neighborhood kids threw sticks at me. I've been staying with an AHS staff member and have adjusted well to her home, but when I go back to the shelter I hide in the office.
The shelter is a wonderful place because they find homes for animals, but the sounds and smells are too overwhelming for my shy nature. I need an owner who will take things slowly with me; someone patient who will help me learn to trust all over again.
I've been in the shelter since March 18, 2009.
