Free Community Fair: Flip the Script on Aging

Let’s change the way we think and talk about aging! Join Us on June 10 to reimagine how we think about growing older and what we can do to prevent elder abuse. This free community fair will feature speakers, vendors, and resources to help us learn how to embrace aging, how we can protect older adults, and receive information from organizations that support older adults and caregivers.

This event will celebrate Older Americans Month in May and raise awareness about World Elder Abuse Awareness Day in June! The Strategic Aging Leadership Team (SALT) and Buncombe County Elder Justice Coalition (EJC), both part of Age-Friendly Buncombe County, are hosting the event.
