SHELL: Theatre for the Very Young presented by Asheville Creative Arts

Join us at the West Asheville Library for a 30-minute interactive multilingual and multimedia performance installation for ages 0-7 called SHELL. This free event will be presented by Asheville Creative Art’s Theatre for the Very Young and includes projections, movement, puppetry and play. See a preview here. There will be two shows on Friday, April 26 at 3 p.m. and 4 p.m.

SHELL follows a Slug and a Snail who journey to find a new shell when the Snail’s shell is broken in a storm. Composed of different vignettes, audiences will practice phonetics, play with causality and object permanence against the backdrop of a story performed in Spanish and English, and touches on migration and community.

This program is free and no reservations are required. Contact the West Asheville Library if you have any questions.

When: Friday, April 26 with shows at 3 p.m. and 4 p.m.
Where: West Asheville Library, 942 Haywood Road, 828-250-4750
