Buncombe County is accepting applications for the Affordable Housing Services Program starting Monday, Dec. 11, 2023, at 8 a.m. Through this program, qualified entities and organizations can apply for funds to administer and deliver affordable housing projects. Applicants must be capable of delivering proposed projects in accordance with Buncombe County AHSP guidelines and requirements. The AHSP program description, requirements, and guidelines are available for download through the online application portal.
A virtual non-mandatory pre-application conference will occur Thursday, Jan. 4, 2024 at 2 p.m. A link to the virtual non-mandatory pre-application conference meeting will be provided upon request to AHSP@buncombecounty.org. Community Development staff will be available to meet with applicants Jan. 8-12 and Jan. 15-19 by appointment. Appointments can be scheduled by emailing AHSP@buncombecounty.org.
The deadline for submission of project proposal applications is Friday, Jan. 26, 2024, at 5 p.m. Applications must be completed online at buncombecounty.org/apply.
