Join us for this collaborative event with WNC Repair Cafe where skilled volunteers provide free hands-on instruction in the art of repair including stitching, mending, buttons, zippers, and more.
The public is invited to bring in their worn-out and damaged fabric items to the Repair Cafe. This includes clothing, but also other common household items in need of repair like a worn purse, favorite stuffed animal, torn backpack strap, old work gloves or couch cushion. Join us for an evening of helping a neighbor, learning by doing, sharing ideas, and reducing waste.
Free repairs are offered in the spirit of Sustainability and Community Resiliency. All sewing materials will be provided. Any questions? Contact the Leicester Library.
Stay tuned as we’ll be having more repair events at the library soon!
