Free, In-Person Listening Training on July 26 and September 15

Anyone in the role of supporting others’ social-emotional well-being, mental health, and substance misuse is encouraged to sign-up for Listening Training, a free, in-person training on July 26 or September 15.

The training will help participants learn how to build authentic, sustainable relationships as helping professionals and is an enhanced Motivational Interviewing training focusing on the power of listening to others.

Attendees will also learn about deep listening, compassionate boundaries, personal harm reduction, and how to fill their lives with more meaningful relationships.

The event will include videos and interactive exercises and is sponsored by SeekHealing and Buncombe County. Each training also includes a free follow-up practice session.
