Buncombe County Sports Park at 56 Apac Circle in Asheville is currently undergoing a large paving project which includes the entire park.
The park will remain open regularly throughout the paving project and the County is working to ensure we minimize the impact of the project on the park and its programming. Parkgoers should watch for construction and rough roads during the project.
The goal is to have all the parking lots completed by the first week of July. There may be some limited parking at times. The main road is slated to be finished at the beginning of August.
Buncombe County Sports Park is open daily from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. and has soccer fields, picnic areas, disc golf, walking trails, bocce courts, sand volleyball courts, a playground, community garden, edible urban orchard, covered recreation shelter rentals, and more.
