Yoga in Mother Nature: Gentle Yoga Series at the Leicester Library

Starting in September, the Leicester Library will offer Yoga In Mother Nature sessions in the garden area outside the library. The classes are free and will begin on Tuesday, Sept. 7 at 6 p.m.

This is a gentle yoga practice to warm up and stretch the joints and bring more balance to one’s state of mind.  Each week the class will work on a section of the flow of Asanas that honors the Sun, called Surya Namaskarah.  The class will be taught outside in the beauty of nature at the library and all are welcome. Please bring a yoga mat (or a towel) and a firm pillow to sit on. This class is best for older teens and adults of all ages. Masks and social distancing will be required.

This class is free, but you do need to register. Please visit the library web page and use the link on the calendar for this program to sign up.
