Beginning Saturday, Aug. 1, 2020, Buncombe County will begin reinstating parking fees for the county owned parking garages at 164 College St. and 11 Sears Alley. The City of Asheville will also begin reinstating parking fees for city owned parking garages.
On March 18, following the State and Local State of Emergency declarations due to the COVID-19 public health emergency, the County in collaboration with the City of Asheville, temporarily stopped collecting hourly parking fees in order to support convenient access to downtown parking and curbside pick-ups.
