Do you feel like owning your own home is a pipe dream or always just out of your reach? A key partner in the County’s pursuit to making affordable homeownership a reality for our residents is Asheville Area Habitat for Humanity (AAHH). The nonprofit is currently accepting applications for those looking to start the process of homeownership for its new, 12-home neighborhood in Candler. A series of upcoming information sessions will outline the process and help identify if you are eligible.
AAHH Homeownership Information Sessions:
- Thursday, Jan. 31, at 6 p.m. at Ferguson YMCA, 31 Westridge Market Place, Candler, NC 28715.
- Wednesday, Feb. 6, at 6 p.m. at AAHH’s office, 33 Meadow Road, Asheville, NC 28803.
