Kennel Frustration

Kennel Frustration often occurs with dogs in a shelter environment. It may look concerning to a passerby, but once the dog is out of its kennel, you will get a more accurate view of its true personality. Let’s meet Roxy at the Asheville Humane Society both inside and out of her kennel, to find out how kennel frustration shows itself, and why you shouldn’t look over dogs just because of this behavior.

So the next time you're at the Asheville Humane Society looking to adopt a dog, give them a second chance, as sometimes this behavior can make it harder to adopt these lovable pets.

Check out all the dogs, cats, and more currently in need of adoption. For more information, you can visit ashevillehumane.org. The Adoption Center is located at 14 Forever Friend Lane, Asheville. You can give them a call at 828.761.2001.
