Input Needed: Buncombe-Madison Regional Hazard Mitigation Survey From Emergency Services: Natural disasters in our area are inevitably going to occur. To that end, Buncombe and Madison counties are working together to update their regional Hazard Mitigation Plan. The purpose of this plan is to assess our community’s natural hazard risks and determine how to lessen our vulnerability when disaster strikes. This survey is an opportunity for you to share your opinions and participate in the mitigation planning process. The information you provide will help us better understand your hazard concerns and can lead to mitigation activities that should help lessen the impacts of future hazard events.
