eRecording 

Buncombe County Register of Deeds offers eRecording — an option for recording documents electronically via the internet. The eRecording service allows for submission, receiving and processing of documents in a more direct and timely manner. Companies may find that recording documents electronically can save time and resources.

Requirements to become an authorized submitter:

Financial and legal companies, attorneys, etc. that would be interested in submitting electronically to Buncombe County Register of Deeds will need to contact one of our authorized eRecording providers for more information:

Upon selecting an authorized submitting provider, the submitting company will need to complete the Submitter Memorandum of Understanding (MOU).

Requirements to become an authorized provider:

Electronic recording companies that are interested in becoming approved providers for Buncombe County Register of Deeds must complete the Provider Memorandum of Understanding (MOU). This is required by North Carolina General Statutes.
