Spring Reading: One Book, One Buncombe Presents Pages in the Parks

With spring in bloom and the weather about to be more predictably warm, Buncombe County Libraries is excited to announce a new program called Pages in the Parks. The concept is simple, come to the park and bring something to read. This isn’t a book club, it’s just a time to come together to enjoy the act of reading and remind our community that reading is an essential element to learning, relaxing, and connecting.

It's also a great chance for you to turn some pages on the One Book, One Buncombe group read The Violin Conspiracy. These events are free, open to the public, family friendly, and a great chance for us to gather and read this spring season. Please plan to join us for an hour or two of reading, relaxing, and gathering in our most beautiful public spaces at one of the following times. Things to bring: a book, a friend, a blanket or lawn chair, snacks, and your love of reading!
