If you love Appalichian music culture, bluegrass, clog dancers, storytellers, and old-time string bands, then you have to check out Shindig on the Green, this year they’re celebrating their 50th season.
The next Shindig on the Green is taking place on Saturday, August 20th from 7PM – 10PM and is free for all attendees. Bring your instruments, families, friends, lawn chairs, and blankets for a good time at the Bascom Lamar Lunsford Stage in front of the County and City Buildings at Pack Square Park. There will be fun activities for the whole family and concessions available. This Shindig on the Green will feature the Little River Cloggers and Dixie Darlin’s.
