Vote Absentee in 2016!

Any voter in Buncombe County can request an Absentee Ballot for both the Primary and General Elections in 2016. All you have to do is fill out an Absentee Ballot Request Form. You can pick one up at Election Services at 77 McDowell Street in downtown Asheville, or you can download a request form here.

Absentee Ballot voters can vote during the Primary Elections, all you have to do is select on the political party whose primary you want to participate in on the request form.

When you're finished filling out the Absentee Ballot Request Form, return it to Election Services at least a week before the date of the election, March 15th for the Primary Election, and November 15th for the General Election.

Don't forget to fill out all the information on the form, including your date of birth, ID (which can be the last four digits of your social security number, or your driver's license number), and make sure you sign the bottom.
