Peaceworker Christy Bischoff brings us a firsthand report on daily life in the West Bank town of Hebron.
Last June, after training in Chicago, Christy traveled to Hebron as part of a Christian Peacemaker Team. CPA supports local initiatives in non-violent problem-solving in several troubled areas around the world, including Iraq, Colombia, and the US– Mexican border.
Of her two months in Hebron, Christy says, “In some ways it was not as bad as I expected, but in some ways it was worse.”
