A gate has been installed at the Buncombe County Detention Facility, at the intersection of Davidson Drive and Marjorie Street. The gate was installed to control traffic flow due to both sides of the road being fire lanes.
There is public metered parking along Valley Street and Marjorie Street for anyone visiting the Detention Facility or the Magistrate’s Office. The Detention Facility has visitor handicap parking to the immediate right of the gate.
