The Buncombe County Sheriff's Office is asking for assistance from the public in identifying a person suspected of breaking into a Motor Vehicle in the Fairview area. After breaking into a vehicle and stealing items, the suspect attempted to make purchases with stolen credit cards at the Shell gas station at the corner of Patton Avenue and Johnston Boulevard.
The suspect is described as a white female, has dark hair with blonde colored highlights. She is approximately 5'06"-5'09", 150-160 pounds and was wearing dark colored Nike pants and a blue colored long-sleeved shirt. She is shown in these photos to be wearing a Louis Vuitton scarf on her head that also was stolen during the vehicle break-in. She is also wearing pink or purple rimmed glasses.
The female is believed to be operating a white colored sedan.
