With the mountains of prescription painkillers circulating in WNC, the rates of opioid addiction and opioid-related deaths are skyrocketing. What is it about prescription painkillers that are so addictive and how can we keep it from taking root in our homes, schools, and communities? The Buncombe County Speaker's Bureau is tackling Prescription Painkiller Addiction on Tuesday, October 17 @ 8:30am at the Buncombe County Family Justice Center, 35 Woodfin Street in downtown Asheville.
