Buncombe County announces that Budget and Management Services Director Diane Price will be retiring effective Sept. 1, 2018, to spend more time with her family. Price has been with Buncombe County for 27 years and was named Budget and Management Services Director in April of 2014. We wish her well in her future endeavors.
Interim County Manager George Wood indicated he will have an Interim Director in place by the time Price retires and will move forward with the selection process of a full-time Director.
