Tuesday, August 22 @ 6:30pm
Enka-Candler Library

Non-native invasive plants have been introduced into North Carolina and are causing problems for our native plant & animal Oriental Bittersweetspecies. These plants are backyard bullies & are taking over our natural areas, parks, forests, urban environments, yards & gardens.

This practical hands-on approach using “live” examples of these plants will teach you how to recognize & identify the most common invasive plants in our area & how to manage & reduce their spread.

Presented by:

  • Alison Arnold – NC Cooperative Extension Horculture Agent
  • Barbara Harrison – Extension Master Gardener Volunteer, Buncombe County
