October is domestic violence prevention month.
As an employer, you play a unique role in keeping your employees, co-workers and our community safe. Please join us for a lunch and learn as we discuss:
- What policies and procedures support a safe work environment?
- How can you create communication that creates awareness?
- Do you have effective ways for employees to report concerns?
- Do you have supports for those affected by violence?
- What role does HR, Operations, Legal and Security play?
- How can a Threat Assessment Team support your work?
- What are we doing at a community level and how can you align your efforts?
We will have a panel of experts across disciplines with examples of materials, policies, and practices that you can use. We are looking into getting credit for attendance and will let you know if this has been approved should you register. Lunch is provided so please RSVP christa.lance@buncombecounty.org.
