NaNoWriMo Wrap Party

From Buncombe County Libraries:

You wrote for NaNoWriMo, now you ain’t gotta write No Mo!

The Buncombe County Public Library system is celebrating the end of National Novel Writing Month with a party for any writer in Asheville who participated in the month-long writing challenge.

NaNoWriMo NoMo will be held at Pack Library on Saturday Dec. 7 at 2 p.m. in Lord Auditorium. Anyone who attempted the National Novel Writing Month challenge during the month, whether they completed 50,000 words or not, is welcome to attend. Writers did not have to attend any of the Buncombe County Public Libraries “Come Write In” events to attend the party.

The party will have food, literary themed games and opportunities to meet other writers, as well as a “micro mic” that will give each writer a chance to read one paragraph from their novel to the group. Attendees will have a chance to mingle and enter to win raffle baskets with prizes from local companies like Dynamite Coffee, Malaprops, and more, as well as some official NaNoWriMo swag.
