Open to non-formal environmental educators, teachers, and others interested in helping students understand the strong connections between food, land, and people! Project Food, Land, & People is a national science and social sciences-based curriculum with 55 hands-on, interdisciplinary lessons that cover subjects ranging from environmental science and stewardship to human populations, health, and land use issues. FLP follows the new K-12 science competencies in the NC Standard Course of Study as set forth by the North American Association for Environmental Education.
Credit: Participants can earn .6 CEU or 6 hours toward NCEE Certification.Want 10 hours? You can choose to do homework to earn 4 more hours.
