Getting out and staying active has been challenging during quarantine orders, business and park closings, and strict capacity restrictions. Thankfully, as COVID rates remain stable and people continue diligently practicing the 3 Ws, our community is starting to open just in time for spring. As temperatures climb and restrictions continue to loosen, there are more options for COVID-safe ways to shake off the chill of winter and welcome in the warmth of our beautiful mountains.

Your health and the health of our community remains Buncombe County’s top priority. To help you make safe decisions about your activities this spring, Buncombe County developed an easy-to-use COVID-Safe Flow Chart. Use this chart to help you determine whether the activity you would like to do is COVID-Safe or not. This is not the time to give up on the very serious responsibility of the 3 W’s.
