The WNC Career Expo will be on Thursday, April 11 at the Davis Event Center, WNC Agricultural Center in Fletcher from 11:00 am – 4:00 pm with over 150 employers in the region offering thousands of career opportunities. The WNC Career Expo, hosted by the Asheville Chamber of Commerce in partnership with the Mountain Area Workforce Development Board, connects area employers with talented workers. This is a free event and no registration is required for career seekers. Free parking available. This will be the largest career fair in Western North Carolina.
Employers in the sectors of Advanced Manufacturing, Healthcare, Hospitality & Tourism, Finance, Local and State Government, Skilled Trades, Tech/IT and more will be in attendance. Prior to opening to the general public at 11:00 am, over 700 high school students from Asheville City, Buncombe County, Henderson County, Madison County and Transylvania County Public Schools will attend the WNC Career Expo to learn about career opportunities in our region.
