Asheville GreenWorks recently partnered with MountainTrue, Riverlink, and the Mills River Partnership to host the WNC Big Sweep, the largest single day river, creek, and roadside clean up in the region. 2017 also marks the 30th year of the WNC Big Sweep. Over 130 volunteers canoed over 25 miles of river collecting over a dumpster's worth of trash.
