Buncombe County Library Director Ed Sheary was named Library Director of the Year by the Annual North Carolina Public Library Directors Association.
Ed was recognized for numerous contributions to public library development in North Carolina, including his management of the Pack Memorial Library Renovation Project. The project successfully transformed thirty-three year old Pack Memorial Library into a safe, modern and attractive facility. The Association recognized the renovation as an outstanding remodeled facility.
Ed has served as Buncombe County Library Director since 1990 and has been a North Carolina public library director since 1981.
