The list of tax liens will run in the Weaverville Tribune beginning with the March 20 issue. The advertisement will also run in the Leicester Leader and Asheville Tribune at the same time.
The advertisement will contain “the name of the record owner of the parcel as determined as of the date the taxes became delinquent.” Taxes became delinquent on January 7, 2014 and notices were sent to the owners of record as of that date.
To avoid advertisement, full payment of the taxes due must be received in the Tax Office no later than 5 p.m. on Wednesday, March 12, 2014.
