Kids Safe Summer events at Buncombe County Pools highlight child safety for summer and year round.
Mission Hospital’s Safe Kids WNC will feature summer safety information, water safety, and sunscreen use. Local Fire Departments will be on hand to answer questions about fire safety at home and outdoors.
Buncombe County Parks, Greenways and Recreation Services staff have planned crafts and activities. The Buncombe County Sheriff’s Department Crime Prevention Unit will be on site with kid friendly information.
Bring the family for an afternoon of safety and swimming fun. The cost to swim is $3 per person.
Events will take place from 12:30 p.m. until 3 p.m. at the following pool locations:
