Those who visit Hominy Creek this summer might see something unexpected floating in the water- don't worry, it's Asheville GreenWorks' Trash Trout. Using several harnessing cables & a recycled pontoon boat, GreenWorks is able to direct trash floating downstream into the pontoon boat. The boat has been outfitted with a grate that collects the garbage while allowing water to continue its flow.
