The Census is hiring for a variety of temporary jobs for the 2020 US Census. Below is a list of dates, times, and library locations when Census representatives will be able to assist you with applications and answer questions. No appointment is necessary. You can also apply for Census jobs here. For assistance with applying you can also call 1-855-JOB-2020.

The results of the 2020 Census will help determine North Carolina's representation in Congress. It also helps determine funding for federal programs including but not limited to: Medicaid, highway planning and construction, Head Start, foster care, and more. This is why it is essential we have an accurate Census count, and why they need a lot of workers. Jobs include:

  • $14/hour pay (minimum)
