We are making this change in response to patron requests and the frequency of afternoon thunderstorms interrupting services. We hope this alteration in hours will mean better and more consistent service for all our patrons.
You can place holds online using the library catalog link at buncombecounty.org/library. You can also call (828) 250-4700 or email library@buncombecounty.org for assistance placing holds.
You’ll get an email when your hold is available. There will be library staff out front of the building to assist you when you visit. The phone number of the library will also be posted if you prefer to call once you arrive.
Please note: For the safety of everyone, we will suspend curbside service during thunderstorms and other severe weather events. On the day of your visit, please monitor the weather and or check our social media for the most up to date information.
Don’t have a library card? You can get one by emailing library@buncombecounty.org.
