The North Carolina Room at Pack Library will begin taking appointments for local history research beginning June 29. Two-hour appointments will be available Wednesday and Friday, noon-5 p.m. Please call 828-250-4740 or email packnc@buncombecounty.org to make an appointment. The North Carolina Room is a local history reference collection and no books may be checked out at this location. We’ll be happy to help you with genealogy or history research. All Buncombe County social distancing and mask requirements will be observed while using the library.
