Summer thunderstorms can come on suddenly. For the safety of all our patrons and staff, Buncombe County Public Libraries will suspend curbside service during thunderstorms and other severe weather events. In the event of thunder, staff will pause curbside service for 30 minutes following the most recent thunderclap. We will resume service as soon as it is safe to do so. On the day of your visit, please monitor the weather and call or check the social media accounts of the library you are visiting for the most up to date information.
