Jan Shepard’s last day as the BCHHS Public Health Director will be March 13, 2020. While the search for the new Public Health Director is underway, current Medical Director, Dr. Jennifer Mullendore, MD, MSPH, has been appointed as the interim. Dr. Mullendore has been with Buncombe County Public Health since 2007 and brings many years of experience to this interim role.
