Aug. 7 Update
Buncombe County officials continue to take proactive steps to keep our community safe and healthy during the COVID-19 Coronavirus pandemic.
Governor Cooper has signed Executive Order (EO) No. 155, which mandates that EO No. 141 shall remain in effect, as amended, until 5 p.m. on Sept. 11, 2020. The effective date provisions of Executive Order Nos. 141, 147, and 151, and 153 are amended to have those orders continue in effect through the above-listed time and date. Buncombe County will be fully aligning with this new order.
Buncombe County Commissioners have issued a superseding Stay Safe, Stay Smart Declaration that will go into effect at 5 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 7, 2020, and will remain in effect until 5 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 11, 2020, unless otherwise repealed, replaced, or rescinded.
