The North Carolina Association of Assessing Officers presented Linda Brown, Buncombe County's Land Records & Real Estate Manager with the 2013 Real Estate Appraiser of the Year Award.
Linda was chosen from many well qualified candidates across the state of North Carolina. Linda began her career with Buncombe County in 1987. Through hard work and determination she became the Chief Real Estate Appraiser Supervisor in 1994. In 1996, she was promoted to Real Estate Manager. In 2006, she also became the Land Records Manager. Linda’s dedication has earned her both the professional designations of Residential Evaluation Specialist in 2008 and Certified Assessment Evaluator in 2010.
