From Soil & Water Conservation:
Are you a farmer in Western North Carolina with at least 5 acres of pasture and an interest in agroforestry?
Co-operate WNC is looking for interested farmers to become pilot farms for its emerging Carbon Harvest program. This new initiative links our region’s pioneering climate-responsible businesses with our region’s pioneering farmers and land managers who have the capacity to sequester carbon locally by growing food and other land-based products. For farmers, this means potential for a new market, as well as strategies that will increase the overall economic viability and ecological resilience of your farm.
