Battle of the Badges Blood Drive
Wednesday, February 21 from 8am to 5pm
First Baptist Church
5 Oak Street, Asheville
Local heroes are rolling up their sleeves - and encouraging the community to do the same - as they vie for the most pints donated at the Battle of the Badges Blood Drive.
These competitors will go head-to-head to encourage blood donations for their team:
- Buncombe County Emergency Services
- Buncombe County Sheriff's Office
- Asheville Fire Department
- Asheville Police Department
- North Carolina Highway Patrol
Donors at the blood drive will vote for their favorite team before they donate, and the winner is announced at the end of the drive. Presenting donors will receive a T-shirt and refreshments will be provided by local area restaurants.
