The Buncombe County Sheriff’s Office will hold a community meeting focusing on security for houses of worship on Monday, July 27, 2015, from 6-8:00 pm.
The meeting will be held at Ferguson Auditorium on the campus of AB Tech located at 340 Victoria Road in Asheville. The meeting is free and open to the public. During the meeting there will be a presentation given by retired law enforcement and a question and answer period. Anyone interested in attending this meeting should RSVP with Cpl. Ben Parker at Ben.Parker@buncombecounty.org. The Sheriff’s Office is requesting that persons and organizations share this announcement information on their social media platforms.
