September is National Suicide Prevention Month. The American Foundation for Suicide Prevention will be holding their annual Out of the Darkness Asheville/Western NC Walk on Oct. 7 at Carrier Park. The walk begins at 2 p.m., registration is free and open to the public. You can find out more information here.
