On Saturday, October 13, 2018, Buncombe County Recreation Services will host the annual Fall Festival at Lake Julian Park in Arden. The Festival is FREE and begins 11:00 a.m. and ends at 2:00pm this event is open to children and adults of all ages.
The games and activities are children’s books and board game themed and will delight even the youngest festival attendees.
Try our larger than life games, such as Legos, Jenga Blocks, Connect Four and more. We will have crafts, face painters, a storyteller or try our new Candy Land themed Twister game. Free Popcorn and Cotton Candy to all who attend.
WNC Safe Kids, Buncombe County Sheriff’s Department Crime Prevention, Skyland Fire Department and Sparky the Fire Dog will be there with Fall safety tips. What’s new this year? Come see the Bear CAT, what’s a Bear CAT? You’ll have to come to Lake Julian to find out! Dress up as your favorite non-scary, book or board game character and enter the contest to win a great prize.

Lake Julian Park is located at 406 Overlook Extension in Arden, just off of Long Shoals Rd.
