5th Annual Root Ball with GreenWorks - Sept 23

The staff and volunteers of longtime environmental nonprofit Asheville GreenWorks are known for getting down and dirty – whether it’s cleaning up litter and trash from city streets, digging tree pits or pulling filthy tires out of the French Broad River.

But the fifth annual Root Ball is a chance to get down in a different way – with a dance party!

The Asheville GreenWorks Root Ball, 6:30-10 p.m. Saturday, September 23, at the new City of Asheville Arts and Culture Center at 14 Riverside Drive, down on the French Broad River, is an evening to celebrate the accomplishments of GreenWorks’ 3,000 volunteers.
