See The Gingerbread Houses & Support Area Non-Profits

The Omni Grove Park Inn Gingerbread House Competition supports the Buncombe County Special Olympics

A true family holiday tradition, the National Gingerbread House Competition at Omni Grove Park Inn displays hundreds of tasty houses built by kids, community members, and renowned food artists.

The competition has gingerbread houses of every size, shape, complexity and theme imaginable, including rustic cabins, gumdrop-adorned castles, and whimsical settings. All constructed with the highest quality of design, artistry, and pastry expertise. The collection of gingerbread houses is a must see this holiday season and is fun for all ages. You will be amazed by this magical experience.

This year's competition display will be open to the public beginning on November 18th and continue through January 3rd.

(As a means to preserve the overall guest experience, The Omni Grove Park Inn invites guests not staying at the resort to view the display Sunday afternoon through Thursday, excluding holidays.)

A $10 parking charge will be in effect for all drive-on guests (one charge per vehicle, based on availability).

Half of each parking charge collected this holiday season will be returned to a local non-profit each week .
